Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended

I've tried 5 different methods,( moved next to router & laptop) of connecting to network but all failed (several times each method)  still offline.   Rebooted everything on the network several  times, and all other connections work fine. Getting a little frustrated about connecting.   Anyone had similar problems?

@doogali, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Network Connection Issues for HP DeskJet 4155!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 4155 printer is unable to connect to your network despite multiple attempts, follow these detailed troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Check the Basics

  • Ensure the printer's wireless feature is enabled. If the wireless indicator light is not on, press the wireless button to activate it.
  • Verify that the wireless network is operational and that other devices can connect.

Step 2: Reset the Network Environment

  1. Turn off your router, printer, and computer.
  2. Power them back on in this order: router first, followed by the printer, then the computer.
  3. Try connecting the printer to the network again.

Step 3: Run Wireless Network Test

  • Print a Wireless Network Test page to troubleshoot connectivity issues. You can do this by pressing the Resume and Wireless buttons on the printer simultaneously.
  • Check the signal strength and other diagnostic information provided in the report.

Step 4: Reconnect to the Network

  1. On your computer, navigate to the Network and Sharing Center.
  2. Select “Manage Wireless Networks” to view available networks.
  3. Remove and then re-add your wireless network, ensuring you enter the correct network key.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
