Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

My HP5530 printer is not being recognized by my computer. It is connected wirelessly to the network and is recognized on the network. I can scan and print from the printer if I have a paper copy I can scan, or a memory card to put in the printer slot. I was going to purchase a usb cable and try it that way, but previous questions that have seen with the same problem  said that did not work. It has been working flawlessly until this problem. I have already tried downloading the drivers again, several times in fact, but the install does not complete because it says the computer is not seen. Any suggestions? I tried to print something again today, and got this message. HPENVOY5530 series is in error state. What does that mean? Another addendum to the question. I ran the HPPSD program on my laptop to check out the printer. It did its thing then wanted to print a test page. I said OK and it printed. I selected another document on my laptop to print and it printed. So the printer can talk to my laptop. I went back to my desktop, ran the HPPSD program again on that computer. It would not print the test page or anything else I asked it to print. So apparently the printer is not talking to my desktop, but is to my laptop. Any suggestions?
