Hi @SassyCees,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP printer might be encountering an issue. Let's troubleshoot it step by step. First, try these basic troubleshooting steps.
- Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any jammed paper. If there's any, gently remove it.
- Check Ink or Toner Levels: Ensure that your printer has enough ink or toner. Low ink/toner levels can sometimes prevent printing.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again.
- Check Connection: Make sure your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, ensure that it's connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Printer Drivers: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP website.
- Reset Printer: If none of the above steps work, try resetting your printer to its factory settings. This option is usually available in the printer settings menu.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
