Officejet E7500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've been experiencing an issue that when I go to Apps and try to enter the menu to scan to email, I see a message that it cannot connect to the server, while everything worked fine a couple of weeks ago.

I tried to soft reset and hard reset several times (from the hidden menu) but nothing.

I saw that there were ways to  go back to previous versions of the FW for other models but I cannot find any files for this model.

It would be amazing if somebody can help me downgrade it please, as it's an amazing printer, thanks!

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

Have you tried updating printer firmware? Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168 to update printer firmware.

Are you using the scan to email feature on the printer?

  1. Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  2. Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  3. If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website'.
  4. Go to Scan > Scan to email > Change the settings under 'save as' to PDF.
  5. Try scanning.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
