Hi @Alboim

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand how frustrating it must be to lose ePrint functionality on your HP Officejet 6500A, especially since it was working fine before.

Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to resolve this server connection issue.

1. Restart Your Network Devices

  • Power off your router and printer.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then turn on the router first.
  • Once the router is fully online, turn on the printer.

2. Set a Static DNS

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SetupNetwork SettingsAdvanced Settings.
  • Select Manual DNS and enter:
    • Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
    • Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
  • Save the settings and restart the printer.

3. Enable Web Services Again

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to SetupWeb Services Setup.
  • If Web Services is disabled, enable it.
  • If prompted, enter a proxy server (leave it blank if unsure).

4. Reset Network Settings

  • On the printer, go to SetupNetwork SettingsRestore Network Defaults.
  • Reconnect the printer to the network and test ePrint.

5. Check HP Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Find your printer’s IP address (via Network Settings).
  • Open a web browser and enter the IP address.
  • Navigate to Web Services and ensure it is enabled.

You can find more details here. Let me know how it goes, and I’ll be happy to assist further! I appreciate your patience while we work through this.
