Hi,
I have an OfficeJet Pro 8720 and since 3 days, none of devices can't find it anymore (Android 10 and Windows 7).
It's easy to connect the printer to the network.
So i did:
1- Reset my Wifi settings of my printer and re-configure it
2- Disconnect/connect the printer from outlet
3- Remove/install Apps HP Smart on my Android devices
4- Reset the router
5- Remove/install printer on my computer
(Not necessary in order!!)
Nothing work, the printer connect to the network but none of the devices can't find it
I don't want to use it by Wifi Direct, so somebody had the same problem?
Someone in my house tell me that the printer ask for an update and he made it......maybe the problem?
Thanks

@PenkPanther, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If the printer is able to connect to your wireless network, it means the wireless radio in the printer is working fine. Firmware update will not cause this issue.
Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Also, check if MAC address filtering is enabled on the router. If yes, this printer has to be added to the 'allowed devices' list on your router.
Check for any firewalls installed.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
