Can’t get my instant ink due to printer error, thinking my ink cartridge is a non hp

Me printer is out of black ink and ran out while I was offline for about two weeks. When I tree connecte printer to the internet it will not order my black ink cartridge from hp due to it reading a non hp ink cartridge. Problem is, it is a hp ink cartridge. I’ve never used anything but hp ink on this printer
