Can't print in colour HP 4520 Series

Envy 4527
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My issue seems to be a fundamental problem with many. I've had an HP Envy 4527 for a number of years. It has printed from many devices including Windows 7 laptop, Windows 10 laptop, iPad, Android tablet. Recently, however, I bought a new Windows 10 desktop. I installed the approved drivers from the HP site. Now, I can't get the printer to print in colour using the wi-fi connection. If I connect it using the USB connection it prints in colour.

I've tried all the fixes proposed by HP employees and forum members and spent hours trying to sort it out.
Is there a fully tested, bomb proof silver bullet fix I can use so I can get on with my life rather than sitting in front of a screen tapping on a keyboard?

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.
