I have an Envy 6455e printer.  I bought it new directly from HP.  Apparently during setup I mistyped my user name.  I cannot access support because HP insists my printer is registered to someone else.  
oddly, their instant ink subscription has no problem contacting me on the e mail I used to set up the printer and has suggested I upgrade to more pages based on my use.  
every time I try to access support I am blocked by the AI saying my printer is not mine.  

how do I contact a live person at HP to fix this?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
