Hi.
I'm having real problems finding and connecting to my new M148dw. I have tried on iphone, work windows PC and also, most recently, my macbook pro but am having no luck at all.
On my iphone, I have downloaded the HP Smart App. This tells me to connect to the Printer as a network. However, when I attempt to do so, it asks for a password - I don't have a password for that network?
This issue also arising on my work PC.
On Macbook, I have downloaded HP smart and it cant find my printer at all. I've also tried connecting via USB and it says that it is unable to connect. I have turned on and off multiple times and no difference. I have also swapped from 2.5hz to 5hz etc.
I have tried Connect via WIFI option on the printer - and pressed the USP button on the router. However, despite the fact that the router flashes green, the printer is unable to connect.
I've sent various messages with videos to the Whatsapp number but have not had any acknowledgement or response.
Any help would be very gratefully received and appreciated.

Hi @C_MARKILLIE,
I'd like to help!
To better assist-
- Is the printer connected to a home or public network?
- What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
Print and share the wireless test page -
1.On the printer control panel, press the Setup button.
2. Open the following menus:
● Self Diagnostics
● Run Wireless Test
3. Press the OK button to start the test. The printer prints a test page that shows test results.
Keep me posted.
