Hi @Laureli11,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is saying the wrong passphrase when trying to connect to your AT&T Wi-Fi, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Step 1: Verify Wi-Fi Credentials

  1. Check the Passphrase: Make sure you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password. Double-check for any typos, and ensure that the case (uppercase/lowercase) matches exactly.
  2. Find Password: You can find your Wi-Fi password on the router itself, on a sticker, or in your AT&T account settings.

Step 2: Restart Devices

  1. Restart Printer: Turn off your printer, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
  2. Restart Router: Unplug your AT&T router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Wait for it to fully restart.

Step 3: Forget and Reconnect

  1. Forget Network: If your printer has previously connected to this network, there may be a stored incorrect password. If possible, go into the printer settings and forget the network, then try to reconnect.
  2. Reconnect: Re-enter the Wi-Fi credentials.

Step 4: Use WPS (if available)

  1. WPS Button: If your router and printer support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), you can use this method:
    • Press the WPS button on your router.
    • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your printer (or select WPS in the printer settings).
    • This should connect your printer without needing to enter the password.

Step 5: Update Printer Firmware

  1. Check for Updates: If you can connect the printer to a computer via USB, check for any firmware updates on the HP website that might resolve connectivity issues.

Step 6: Reset Network Settings

  1. Network Reset: If all else fails, consider resetting the network settings on the printer. This option is usually found in the settings menu under "Network" or "Wireless" options.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
