Hi @Deury,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is asking for an HP Instant Ink connection even after you've canceled your subscription, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue and print without Instant Ink.
Reset the Printer: Perform a factory reset on your printer to clear any lingering settings related to Instant Ink. This option is usually found in the printer's settings menu.
Reconfigure Printer Settings:
- Go to the printer's settings or setup menu.
- Look for an option to disable or remove Instant Ink settings.
- If available, select "Remove HP Instant Ink" or similar option.
Check Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve issues with outdated or incorrect settings.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the HP printer software from your computer.
- Download the latest version of the printer software from the HP website.
- Reinstall the software and follow the setup instructions, making sure to select the option to not use HP Instant Ink.
Manually Set Up Printing:
- If you use a Windows PC, go to "Devices and Printers" in the Control Panel.
- Remove the printer if it is listed.
- Add the printer again manually, choosing the option to set it up as a local printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
