Hi @Bobsy81,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To connect your HP DeskJet 3700 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps.
Reset Network Settings
- Power on the printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for about 3 seconds, then release them. The wireless light should start blinking.
Use HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download the HP Smart app from the HP website or your device's app store (available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS).
- Open the app and sign in or create an HP account if needed.
- Add your printer:
- Click the “+” icon to add a printer.
- Select your DeskJet 3700 from the list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
Connect via Control Panel
- If your printer has a control panel:
- Press the Wireless button on the printer.
- Go to the Network menu and select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- The printer will search for available networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password when prompted.
Reinstall the Printer Software
- If you’re still having trouble, you may want to uninstall the existing printer software and then reinstall it.
- Download the latest driver from the HP website for your printer model and operating system.
Check the Wi-Fi Network
- Ensure that your new Wi-Fi network is working properly by connecting other devices (like a smartphone or laptop) to it.
- Make sure the network is not hidden, and that your printer is within range of the router.
After trying these steps, check if your printer can connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
