Solved!

Changge Wi-Fi Settings using Windows 10 ... New Router

HP Recommended
HP Laserjet MFP 28W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been given a new router so the Wi-Fi settings have changed and now none of the computers can see the printer.

@JohnnyOne

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is not connecting to the new wireless router.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the wireless light status on the printer? (Blinking or steady)

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I got around this by …

  • Having a sleep
  • Uninstalling all concept of the printer on one of the laptops
  • Re-installing the software on the laptop, which then ran through and said, “the laptop and printer are on different networks” … duh.
  • Then it said, “Connect the laptop directly up to the printer with USB, which then took the new network connections off the laptop.
  • Problem solved for all PCs / laptops in the house.

Shame there is no software utility which says, “hey you know what I have a new router, can I give you the new wireless settings / password.”  It must happen a lot, especially since the rogues, they call ISPs charge so much.

Thank you so much.
