I have an HP laser printer model MFP 29.  We switched to a new wifi provider and I cannot figure out how to switch over to new wifi.  Instructions do not describe my printer.  The only display I have shows number of copies, and I do not have a USB port to connect to my PC.  Only a cat5 spot for cable.

Hi,

First, restart the pritner and then restore its Network settings as following to allow using auto wireless setup mode:

Next, download and reinstall the printer drivers below by selecting a wireless connection, it should prompt to provide your network details during the installation:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LJ/M28/Full_Webpack-46.5.2645-LJM28-M31_UWL_Full_...

 

However, note that it may require a temporary USB connection, as I'm unsure the printer fully support auto wireless setup mode, if it requires a temporary USB connection, either temporary use another PC with a USB port for its connection, or try using WPS mode instead if your router supports a such:
