Although printer drivers are updated, I can't connect my printer

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 4500 E-All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

May I know: 

Since when are you facing this issue?

Have you made any changes post that this issue was raised? 

Do you see any lights blinking on the control panel of the printer?

Have you observed any error codes on the display? 

May I know the operating system Windows / Mac

Let's try resetting the printer and check once

 

1) Take out the cartridges.  

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.  

3) Wait for 30 seconds.   

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.  

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

 

Update the printer firmware 

 

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating the printer firmware.
  • click here and follow the troubleshooting steps HP printer is offline or not responding (Windows, macOS)
