I forgot the password for EWS.

I am not able to connect my printer to WiFI as it is requesting for password

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you have forgotten the password for your HP Ink Tank 419 printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS), you can reset it to the default password by following these steps.

• Turn on the printer and wait for it to become idle.
• Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer control panel simultaneously for 5 seconds.
• The Wireless and Power lights will start blinking together. This indicates that the printer is resetting the EWS password to the default value.
• Wait for the printer to finish the reset process. The Wireless and Power lights will stop blinking once the reset is complete.
• Use the default password "admin" to log in to the EWS.

Note: After logging in to the EWS, it is recommended that you change the default password to a secure one that you can remember.
