Common problems for Connectivity Issues

macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Printer has become completely unreliable. Its always offline, yet shows as connected on my wifi. Takes 1-2 hours to get it to work each time. Ready to switch to ANYTHING BUT A NEW HP PRINTER.. JUNK!!!!!!  Only way to get it to connect is using WPS.. all other methods fail. then after its connected, its still wont be recognized by my system or phone... ridiculous.

I found that my tp-link Deco router has an "infected device quarantine" setting. If it is on, it quarantines the HP printer. So to use it, I have to leave this protection off. Not ideal. Also if I use VPN, I also lose the printer and have to go through a restart process to use it again. again, far from ideal. If these issues dont get fixed with you software / firmware, I will soon be switching away from HP/ HP ink to another brand. thanks
