Hi - I have an HP ENVY 4523 - and the last few days it keeps appearing as 'offline', even though it shows as connected to wifi on the printer (ie, the blue light is permanently on above the wifi symbol). All my devices (Apple Mac, iPad, Android phone, Android tablet) cannot find the printer as it's 'offline'.
When I go into the Wireless Set Up on the printer display, it shows as ''On'. When I then click to 'Off', then immediately back to 'On' the documents print fine.
However, within 5 minutes or so the same thing happens again...
Any help? Print drivers are up to date. Ive even deleted the printer from the Print Menu on our devices and re-installed them - but no joy.
Many thanks!

@macman100, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the printer does not print fine on wireless connectivity. Let us try these steps:
Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the device you are using to print.
- Make sure the printer and the Mac/mobile are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'(applies if you are not able to print from Apple devices)
-
Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
Use the HP Smart app/AirPrint to print.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks - after re-installing the print drivers (no joy), I simply restarted my router (not expecting anything to change - as no other devices were losing wifi connection)), and hey presto, the printer is now 'online' all the time. Such a simple solution I can't believe I never tried this first!
Thanks
