Hi @LaL76,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6052e All-in-One Printer is displaying an error message like "We are sorry, something went wrong" while trying to connect to WiFi, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Restart Devices

  • Power cycle your printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Restart your router: Unplug the router for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and allow it to restart fully.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device that you are trying to connect from.

Check Network Connection

  • Ensure your WiFi network is working properly and that other devices can connect to it.
  • Check the WiFi signal: Make sure the printer is within range of your WiFi router.
  • Verify that your printer is connecting to the correct network (e.g., 2.4 GHz if that's what the printer supports).

Reset Printer's Network Settings

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Settings. This will reset the printer's network connection, allowing you to try setting it up again.

Re-run the Wireless Setup

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device, and follow the setup process for adding the printer to your WiFi network.
  • Alternatively, you can use the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer's control panel to select your network and enter the password.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. You can check this from the HP Smart app or the HP website for updates.

Check for IP Conflicts

  • Ensure there are no IP address conflicts on your network. This can be checked through your router settings.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • If you're still facing issues, download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. It can help diagnose and fix network-related issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
