Hi @Lehwitski8 ,
Thank you for your reply
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY Photo 7855. You might be stuck in a photo printing mode, which is causing the slow print speed.
Here are a few steps you can try to fix this issue:
1. Check Print Settings:
- On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP ENVY Photo 7855 and select Printing preferences.
- Check the Paper/Quality or Print Quality settings. Ensure that it's not set to Best or Photo quality for standard document printing. Set it to Draft or Normal for faster printing.
- Check the paper type; make sure it's set to Plain Paper instead of Photo Paper.
2. Check Printer Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer's display screen, go to Settings > Print Settings or Preferences.
- Ensure that the Print Mode is set to Normal or Draft for documents, not Best or Photo.
3. Update Printer Drivers: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Go to HP’s official website and check if there are any available firmware updates or drivers for your printer model.
- Update both the firmware and printer drivers to the latest version.
4. Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
5. Disable Photo Enhancements (Optional):
- Sometimes photo enhancement settings can slow down printing.
- In the Print Preferences, disable any photo enhancement features, which might improve the speed for regular printing.
