I forgot EWS username and password I set previously. Now , I am unable to access EWS at 192.168.223.1 since it asks for username and password. I have already tried pressing Wireless+Cancel button for 3 seconds , no luck.
Tell me , how to reset the EWS username and password.

Hi @ctrlz,
Thanks for posting your question in the HP Community. It is a terrific place to find answers and tips and to have the best experience in the HP forums. I understand that the printer settings are locked and you are asked a username and password. I’ll be happy to assist you with this.
A commendable job was done by diagnosing the issue before posting your question in the HP forums. It is always a great pleasure to work with tech-savvy d customers like you. Kudos to you for that. We definitely value your relationship with HP tremendously.
Please try these steps:
- Open a web browser and type the printer IP address in the address field exactly as it appears on the Configuration Page, and then press Enter.
- Click the Security tab, and under General Security, set the local administrator password.
- Keep the username default as admin.
- Type the New Password and Verify Password.
- Navigate to the bottom of the page and click Apply.
Use these credentials the next time you Log In to the EWS.
If this does not work Please visit these links and check if that resolves the issue.
Link 1: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04403354 is the user manual for the printer. You could restore network settings on this printer and refer Page 76 from the user manual.
Although it is for a different Office jet printer the steps should be similar in the printer control panel under network options
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Well , first of all there is no "Security" tab on the printer EWS page. Secondly, to change the printer administrator password , I need EWS password first , which is , infact , what I asked.
Also the other links you referred relied on Restore Networking default from Printer control panel & not EWS password , but as I said I have already tried that.
Anyway, thanks for replying to my problem.
And when I try to open any tab -

I suggest performing a restore network settings to default settings
● Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button (X) from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Connect the printer to the network
