Hi HP Community,

I cannot get my HP 2700 to Add qin my Mac printer drivers list. I do see the unit there and in HP Smart. There are actually two of the same printer in HP Smart. I think it would be good to delete them and start fresh but I cannot see how to do that.

I had a functioning HP 2700 which printers… because it shoots out Wireless Quick Start instructions every time I try to reset it.

I have only owned this unit a few years. It is out of warrant. I see the printer; but at every step I get errors like this:

I was getting some WiFi slowing and installed a new router; which works perfectly otherwise. It’s distressing as this printer has been working fine up until today. I am relative tech savvy but wasted a few hours on this today with no success.

Thanks if someone can pinpoint a solution.

Thanks,

Grant

4. Reinstall HP Smart App:

Reinstall the HP Smart app to your Mac.

  1. Download the HP Smart app from the HP website or from the Mac App Store.

5. Add Printer in HP Smart App:

Re-add the printer to the HP Smart app after the reset.

  1. Open the HP Smart app.
