HP Recommended

I have a Deskjet 2540 that won't say on the wireless network for more than 5 minutes. Even while I was administering it through the gui it dropped off and went unresponsive. Doesn't matter what os or device I am trying. I have a static ip on the printer and in my router. This just seems like a defect at this point. Is there any fix?
