Mac Book Pro (running Monterey V. 12.0.1)
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I'm trying to print a **bleep** email from my Mac and receiving an error message when printing: "Printing Failed. Please check your printer and try again".

I'm trying to print without a cable connection and my printer diagnostics all show as "ready, connected" to my wifi.

I have go on the HP Smart site to see if there's something I'm forgetting, but so far it looks like I'm doing everything according to the instructions.

Can you offer any recommendations?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Did you try printing from any other email or browser?

Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update printer firmware

Update software on Mac

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
