HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

Does the HP envy 6455e all in one printer require internet to print documents from a mobile device and if not what can I do to solve this? Phone is a samsung galaxy s24 ultra with os 14.

If you have a modem then connect the printer to the modem.

If you do not have a modem you can print directly from device to printer using WiFi direct as explained on page 31 of the users manual. I think the default when you power up is WiFi direct.

Another reset method

For those who have lost internet connection to the printer and need to reset manually there is a power and Wi-Fi button near the power cord on the back of the printer. Hold it for 3-6 seconds or longer. The printer will shut off .Unplug it and re plug it and it should be at factory settings to be set up again through the HP Smart app.

if no smartphone then use the wps or pushbutton method discussed on page 28 of the users manual


this printer supports 2.4 and 5ghz bands.
