Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am having problems prining wirelesly from my PC to my printer. It keeps saying printer is offline. My internet is on. My printer showes wifi reception is good. I can print from my phone and my laptop. I have done the dropdown menu to change from offline printing.

@QuilterBB, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to print wirelessly from your computer. If you are able to print from other devices, it means the printer is working fine.

 

Let us try these steps:

 

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • Either 2.4 or 5G network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Try printing. If the issue persists, run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
