A couple days ago we lost connectivity with our printer. Blue wireless light was flashing. I rebooted everything - nope. Used WPS both pin and pushbutton - nope. I connected to the printer via USB and it works directly. So with that connection I downloaded and used the HP Print Doctor - all shows good. When I uninstalled and re-installed the printer software (From HP Site) I got the following message:
So I updated the firmware on the printer - nope. Ran the network test and I see it's failing on Security. The Troubleshooting section says "Your wireless router requires a WPA security passphrase. The passphrase configured on your HP printer does not match exactly. Run the wireless network setup to re-enter your wireless network WPA security passphrase. "
I have confirmed 2 times that I am using the correct passphrase using auto configure and advanced manually during the software setup process. The blue wireless light continues to flash on the printer and it remains in offline status on our laptops.
I can see the printer on my router admin screen so I think it's connected to the router but it seems there's some other communication issue because the printer status is "Offline" even though I can see it is on.
Any suggestions?

I had to reinstall several times,
In the end, the main issue for me was resolved when I ensured I wifi print using the same band width as the printer is connecting to, ie check the printer settings to see if it's connecting to 2.4 or 5.0 GHz, and use that same network connection on the device printing from
