Hi @Debss123,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet 5258 is printing wirelessly but producing blank pages, this could be due to a few common issues related to the ink cartridges or the printer's internal mechanisms. Here's what you can do to troubleshoot.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Ink Levels: Ensure the ink cartridges are not empty or low on ink. You can check this from the printer's display or through the HP Smart app.
  • Reinstall Ink Cartridges: Open the printer cover, remove the ink cartridges, and then reinstall them to ensure they are seated correctly.
  • Clean the Ink Cartridges: There may be clogs in the printhead. In the HP Smart app or your printer settings, look for the option to clean the printhead or perform a self-cleaning cycle.

Printhead Cleaning

  • Access the printer's menu and select Settings > Tools > Clean Printhead. This will help clear any blockages or dried ink that may be preventing the ink from flowing onto the page.

Perform a Printer Alignment

  • After ensuring the ink cartridges are in place, perform a printer alignment. You can find this option under Settings > Tools > Align Printer on the printer's display.

Firmware and Software Update

  • Check if there are any available firmware or driver updates for your printer on the HP support website. Sometimes outdated software can cause printing issues.

Test with a Different Document

  • Try printing a different type of document (such as plain text) to see if the issue persists across all prints or only specific ones.

Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source for 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help reset the printer and resolve any temporary issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
