@Riscosman, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're trying to reconnect your HP Officejet 8600 Plus printer to a new EE Hub after switching from BT. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get your printer back online:

Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset. This clears old Wi-Fi settings.

Reconnect to the New EE Hub:

  • On the printer, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • The printer will search for available networks.
  • Select your EE Hub’s Wi-Fi name (SSID) from the list.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.

Install or Update Printer Software (if needed):

  • On your computer, go to HP Support – Officejet 8600 Plus.
  • Download and install the latest drivers and software for your operating system.

Add the Printer to Your Computer:

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners > Add a printer or scanner.
  • On Mac: Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners > + to add the printer.

Print a Test Page to confirm everything is working.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
