Hi @PaulR252,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Officejet Pro 8715 prints from the computer and mobile devices but won't connect to the HP Instant Ink web server, here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Internet Connection

Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the internet. This can be done by verifying your printer's network settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon or go to Network Setup.
  • Verify that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.

2. Restart Devices

Restart your printer, router, and computer/mobile devices:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds.
  • Restart your router by unplugging it, waiting for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
  • Restart your computer and mobile devices.

3. Update Printer Firmware

Make sure your printer firmware is up to date:

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter your printer model (HP Officejet Pro 8715) and check for firmware updates.
  • Download and install any available updates.

4. Check HP Instant Ink Account

Ensure that your HP Instant Ink account is active and in good standing:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on the HP website.
  • Check for any notifications or messages that might indicate a problem with your account.

5. Reconnect to HP Instant Ink

Try reconnecting your printer to the HP Instant Ink service:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > HP Web Services Setup.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to re-enable Web Services and reconnect to HP Instant Ink.

6. Reset Web Services

Reset the Web Services on your printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > HP Web Services Setup > Remove Web Services.
  • After removing Web Services, go back to Setup > HP Web Services Setup and follow the instructions to enable Web Services again.

7. Check for Network Issues

Ensure there are no network issues that might be blocking the connection:

  • Check if there are any firewalls or security software on your network that might be blocking the printer's access to the internet.
  • Ensure your network has a strong and stable connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
