Is hp smart app off line. Smart app will not load up. Have used 3 devices, iPad, iPhone, MacBook, have removed and reloaded app plus rebooted the WiFi. Nothing works. 

has been rectified about 1 hr after raising this issue .

I understand you're experiencing an issue with HP smart app, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
 

Please go to System Preferences > General and ensure your default browser is set as Safari and check for any difference then.

 

If the same persists, click on Finder and then select Force Quit from the Apple menu and quit Safari, then try logging in back from within HP Smart and check for any difference.
