Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8028e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Bought a new HP laptop, and a New HP Office pro printer...windows 11....both are connected to the network and print successfully.  HP Smart app does not find my printer  so I cannot sign up for Instant ink system nor receive my 6 months free ink.  Have spent hours with HP support and even bought the HP friendly support as no one could solve problem.  After many case file numbers and no solutions called instant ink and after talking to rep, and put on hold for 20 min...she never came back, I hung up..

 

How do I resolve this...want my free ink and the ONLY way to get it is to go through HP Smart app...which doesn't find my printer.  Very un happy with HP
