Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Just started using my new HP 2732 and realized that HP Smart only recognizes PDF files.  Is there a way to get other file types to print?  I'm exporting everything to PDF to print.  This is true for my MacBook Pro (Catalina)  and iPhone 11 running HP Smart

@dcote63, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

HP Smart app is able to to print PDF and Word documents. If you are trying to print from your MAC, you may use the AirPrint driver.

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Hi!  Firmware was current and printing from my Mac has been an issue from the start.  I had a different post for that.  I've had to accept that I can only print from my iPhone but I didn't realize that PDF would be the only format.   I can work with that.  Thank you for your help!
