HP Tango
iOS

Hi everyone,

I'm not used to ask for help online but I'm in a case I just can't resolve.
So I have a HP Tango printer and although it works pretty well with my Mac, it seems that Tango doesn't like iPhones.

HP Smart is installed on my iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 14. I also tried the same exact thing with an iPhone 8, iOS 14. When I try to print a document with AirPrint, both iPhones can't find the printer at all (although AirPrint is activated on the Printer). So I try to use HP Smart instead. I select "Print with HP Smart" and here is what I get (I'm French so I tried to translate what I'm seeing on my screen) :

Then I got a message saying that the app can't find the printer and ...

The result is, I can't print correctly unless I try to leave, come back to the app, trying again, cancelling the search of the distant printer, things like that. Then, hopefully, the "print" button turns blue and I can print. But each time I have to print, I can't use the "official and right way to do it". I'm forced to hack things until it finally works I don't know why.

On my Mac, AirPrint kinda works well (not exactly but it's not too constraining) and HP Smart is always working fine.

Thanks for your help ! 😁
