I have an issue with my HP Smart Tank 7301 where it's printing only one job at a time then it goes offline. Is anyone else having this issue? If so what is the solution?

Try these steps:
Check Network Connection
Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the network:
- WiFi: Make sure the printer is connected to WiFi and has a stable connection. Reconnect the printer to your network if needed.
- Ethernet: If you are using Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected.
Restart Printer and Router
A simple restart can sometimes resolve connectivity issues:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Turn off your router and wait for about 30 seconds.
- Turn on the router and wait until it reconnects to the internet.
- Plug in the printer and turn it back on.
Update Printer Firmware
Ensure the printer firmware is up-to-date:
Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.
Set Static IP Address
Assigning a static IP address to your printer can help maintain a stable connection:
- Obtain the IP address of your printer (usually found in network settings on the printer display).
- Enter the IP address into your web browser to access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Navigate to the Network settings and assign a static IP.
Check Printer Settings
Verify printer settings on your computer:
- Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click on your printer, select Printer Properties, and go to the Ports tab. Ensure the correct port is selected (Standard TCP/IP Port).
- Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Select your printer and check the settings, ensuring it’s connected to the correct network.
Disable Sleep Mode
Sometimes, the printer might go into sleep mode and appear offline:
- Go to your printer’s control panel settings.
- Disable sleep mode or set it to a longer time before the printer goes into sleep mode.
Reinstall Printer Software
Reinstall the printer software to ensure there are no corrupted files affecting the connection:
- Uninstall the printer software from your computer.
- Visit the HP Support Website and download the latest driver and software package.
- Install the software and follow the setup instructions.
I hope this helps.
