I have been having internet connection issues and my broadband provider stated it was down to my HP6000 printer using quite a bit of broadband width. They recommended factory resetting the printer. However going through HP smart instructions I get to advanced settings, press OK and the get the following message "This connection is not private. This website may be impersonating....to steel personal or financial information. I then have 2 options  "show details" or "Go Back"......neither of which allow me to go to factory reset!.

Hi @Sky66,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
