Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the last couple months we have been having issues with the Scan to Email on our HP7520. At first it was intermittent, then it just stopped working.

I followed some instructions to remove the Web Services and re-add them back. Then followed the setup and claimed the printer again from hpconnected.com. Once that was done we had to re-add the email address to the printers Scan to Email function and enter the PIN. All that worked and we were able to perform a Scan to Email ONE TIME ONLY.

Now it's doing the same thing again. Each time we try to Scan to Email we get the "Unable to connect to Web Services"

I know the printer has Internet access as we can send emails to it via the hpeprint.com email address assigned tot he printer. And the fact that it was able to send a Scan to Email at least once.

Is there a known issue with the Web Services servers causing this issue? Or how do I fix this issue?

Thank you in advance

J

 Hi @Sgtjake916,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are not able to scan to email and web services are not working on the printer.

Try the below suggestions to resolve the error -

Restart web services:

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Cannot Connect to Web Services

To access the EWS page of the printer,

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  • Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  • If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
