HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

Recently, out of nowhere, I am no longer able to print to my printer. If I restart the printer, it will show up as an available printer on my dev devices (iOS, Windows 10 Pro) but when I go to print it fails. All of the tests check out from the printer. It is not discoverable by HP Smart on any of my devices either. The firmware is up-to-date.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
 

If you're experiencing issues with printing and the printer is not being recognized or accessible from your devices, We can try doing a network reset.

To restore the printer to the original network settings 
 

  • From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 
  • Touch Network Setup. 
  • Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 
  • Touch Yes.
  • Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset

 

NOTE: When you reset the printer network settings, previously configured wireless and Ethernet settings (such as the link speed or IP address) are removed. The IP address is set back to the Automatic mode.
