Hi @John1855,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing wi-fi connection issues with your HP Officejet pro 8600 Plus All-In-One Printer.

Please follow the steps listed below to restore the printer to its network defaults and then reconnect to the wireless network.

Step 1: Restore the printer to its network defaults.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Network Setup.
3. Touch Restore Network Settings.
A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
4. Touch Yes.

Step 2: Re-connect the printer to the network.
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch (Wireless).
2. Touch (Settings).
3. Touch Wireless Settings.
4. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
5. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

I have 2 HP printers (HP Officejet Pro 8610 and 8620) I am having the same problem with both. I can not print to either printer all of the sudden. I have had both printers for several years and have had no problems, until 2 days ago. Neither printer is recognized from my computers, or network. I have tried the same process described above, but nothing helps. All my other devices are working fine. I have been on HP's site and I have found no solution.

Hi @John1855,

Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor on the computer connected to the printer.
1. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/printscandoctor
2. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
3. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
4. If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on and then click Retry.
5. If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
6. If the screen displays prompting to turn on printer updates, click Yes and continue.
7. If the screen displays prompting to make your printer the default printer, click Yes and continue.
