Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Can't get the connection to complete in the wireless set up wizard. It does locate my SSID but when I put in the password that's on the device it continues to show up as invalid password.  Thanks for your support in advance.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)? 
  • Could you share the screen where it's asking for the password? 
  • Are you connecting to the home network or HP named network?

While you respond to that, use Wi-Fi Direct when a local wireless network is unavailable: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1841315-1637332-16
