I’m having trouble connecting My MacBook to my printer. I’ve already called Apple  tech support on this, and they are telling me that the laptop is sending the message out correctly to the printer but the printer is not picking it up. They think it might be an updated software issue. Because the printer is out of warranty tech-support won’t help me. I’m not very tech savvy and need assistance with this.  Can anyone out there please help?

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.

 

  • Are you able to make a copy?
  • What is the exact issue you are facing?
  • How is the printer connected to the computer? (USB or wireless)
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?
