Hi @Monz7,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi and the blue light indicating wireless connectivity is off, here’s a step-by-step approach to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting:

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off your printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.

Check Wireless Connectivity:

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
  • Ensure that Wi-Fi is enabled and that your printer is set to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Verify Wi-Fi Settings:

  • Print a Wireless Network Test Report or Network Configuration Page from your printer. This will provide details about the printer’s current network settings.
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to the Wireless or Network menu to review and confirm the settings match your Wi-Fi network configuration (SSID, password, etc.).

Restart Your Wi-Fi Router:

  • Sometimes, resetting your Wi-Fi router can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Unplug the power cord from your Wi-Fi router and wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the router and wait for it to fully restart.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi password if prompted.
  • Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the connection process.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
  • Go to the HP Support website, enter your printer model, and download the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to install it on your printer.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electromagnetic interference near your printer that could disrupt the Wi-Fi signal.

Factory Reset (Optional):

  • As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. Note that this will reset all settings to their factory defaults.
  • Consult your printer’s manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
