How do I dump an old broken printer from the HP SMart app?

Welcome to the HP Community --

HP Smart includes a "Hide Printer" feature to remove a printer from the list of printers connected to the application.

Open the HP Smart Application

If more than one printer is connected to the application, slide / switch the arrows to center / select the disconnected printer

If you can do so, Open Printer Settings

Scroll down > find and click Hide Printer
