Hi @JJH10,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP ENVY 6055 printer connecting to your new wireless network. Connectivity problems can be caused by various factors. Let's go through some troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue.

  • Check Network Settings: Verify that your new wireless network is functioning correctly and that other devices can connect to it without any issues.
  • Printer Placement: Ensure that your printer is within range of your wireless router. If it's too far away, the signal strength may be too weak for the printer to connect.
  • Restart Devices: Power cycle your printer and wireless router. Turn off both devices, wait for about 10-15 seconds, and then turn them back on. Sometimes, this simple step can resolve connectivity problems.
  • Wireless Network Name (SSID) and Password: Double-check that you're entering the correct wireless network name (SSID) and password when trying to connect the printer. Typos or incorrect passwords are common mistakes.
  • Connect via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): If your router supports WPS, you can try connecting the printer using this method. Press the WPS button on your router, and then initiate the WPS mode on your printer. The two devices should automatically establish a connection.
  • Update Firmware: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If there are, download and install the latest firmware as it may include bug fixes and improvements related to network connectivity.
  • Reset Network Settings: If the printer is still not connecting, you can try resetting the printer's network settings to default. Check the printer's manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to perform a network reset.
  • Temporary Connection: As a temporary workaround, you can try connecting the printer to your network using a USB cable and then setting up the wireless connection from the printer's control panel.
  • Firewall/Antivirus Interference: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software on your computer can block the printer from connecting to the network. Temporarily disable such software and check if it makes a difference.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
