Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

My router does not have WPS support.

How do i connect to the printer to the WIFI.

Tried using a cable but this doesn't seem to work.

Downloaded the HP software and it will not even run after extraction.

Ran it manually from it's directory under C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution

but when i choose to setup a new wireless printer it simply quits....

Hi,

From within the C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution folder, do you follow the HpSetup.exe executable to install the software?

Have you tried it?

The software is full of bugs.

HpSetup.exe doesn't even run on it self after the extraction.

I f you don't already know from hours of investigation to look for in under c:\ and run it manually there is no way to even get started.

After you manage to get HpSetup.exe running, you have 3 choices to install the printer, the 1st of which is as a wireless printer... Good luck with that as it crashes.

Finally, i managed to get it working by using a laptop connected to the wireless network and even then i had to connect it with a USB and accidentally found some app on the menu for connecting the printer wirelessly.

On each computer i wanted to install this printer i had to restart the computer 1-2 times as after the printed would be added, it would say it's "ready" but would not really print... something with "printer needs attention"

I'm sorry to say but this level of installation / software is a disgrace for HP.
