I have recently acquired a second hand HP 6950 printer.
I initially had issues seeing up the printer with my WiFi. Having factory reset my router I can now see the printer from my web browser. I have placed the printer next to the WiFi to ensure a good signal and have tried all the on line help solutions.
I cannot get my printer to connect to web services.
Any of our PCs and laptops can find the printer on our home WiFi, but they report a printer error through smart print.

Thank you for the reply.
The steps seem to fail at point 6.
I download the firmware that is applicable to the printer. I have reset the printer, so assume that it being required is correct. However, once I run the firmware on the PC I get a "not applicable" message in the PC.

This might require one on one interaction and remote access to your computer to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.
