Hi @Cmj55,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 7155 printer is stuck on the HP logo, you can try the following steps to reset it:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn Off the Printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Unplug the Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait: Leave it unplugged for at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the Power: Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn On the Printer: Press the power button to turn the printer back on.
2. Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn Off the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned off.
- Remove the Ink Cartridges: Open the cartridge access door and carefully remove the ink cartridges.
- Disconnect the Power: Unplug the power cord from the printer.
- Press and Hold Power Button: While the printer is unplugged, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the Power and Ink Cartridges: Plug the power cord back in, and reinsert the ink cartridges.
- Turn On the Printer: Press the power button to start the printer.
3. Check for Firmware Updates
If the printer powers on but remains unresponsive, you might want to check for firmware updates. This typically requires accessing the printer settings via a connected device, so if it's stuck on the logo, this may not be possible immediately.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Unfortunately, those steps did not correct my problem. Also, just so you know, whenever I plug the power cord in the printer starts up with the logo and the power button does not do anything. It will not power down unless I disconnect the power cord. Once again I appreciate the advice, if you know of any other tips I would love to hear them.

I have the same problem with my 7155 printer, the only way to power it on and off is to pull the power cord the on / off switch is useless. I have tried to power it on and off but nothing worked, but when I connected to the laptop I get nothing because it’s offline has anyone been able to solve this
