Hi @Eman5555,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues with printers like the HP 8710 can involve several steps. Here's a guide to help resolve the problem.

  • Check Network Connection: Ensure that your wireless network is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it without issues.
  • Restart Router and Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart of both the router and the printer can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
  • Printer Network Settings: Verify that the printer is connected to the correct wireless network. You can usually check this through the printer's control panel or settings menu.
  • Signal Strength: Make sure the printer is within range of the wireless router and that there are no obstructions causing signal interference.
  • Reconfigure Wireless Settings: If the printer was previously connected to a different network, you may need to reconfigure its wireless settings to connect to the current network.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix bugs and improve connectivity issues.
  • Reset Network Settings: You can try resetting the printer's network settings to factory defaults and then reconfigure the wireless connection.
  • Driver Update: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause connectivity problems.
  • Firewall and Security Software: Sometimes, firewall or security software on your computer can block the printer from connecting to the network. Temporarily disable such software and see if the printer connects.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the wireless connectivity issues with your HP 8710 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
