In general, I believe HP Smart used to work with Wi-Fi Direct, though the latest versions of the application do require that you be signed into the app with your HP Account / HP Smart-HP Connected account to enable Cloud Services. This requirement might mean that the application fails to sign in and / or might not work for scanning, for example.
Can you correct me and / or clarify whether latest HP Smart works with Wi-Fi Direct? Thanks. NOTE: Customer has not provided the Operating System / version.
